Mindfulness teacher
I trained to teach mindfulness and Mindful Self-Compassion with Oxford Mindfulness and Sussex Mindfulness Centre respectively. I’m trained to deliver: Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), MBCT for Life, Finding Peace in a Frantic World, and Mindful Self-Compassion. I am a mindfulness supervisor too, and am supported by supervisors relevant to the courses I am teaching. I follow the Mindfulness Teachers’ Good Practice Guidelines.
Mindfulness improves wellbeing
Thousands of peer reviewed scientific papers prove that mindfulness can help reduce anxiety and depression. You don’t have to suffer from a mental health issue to benefit. Mindfulness also helps people flourish and appreciate more that life has to offer.
Migrants, refugees and asylum seekers
I co-led an adapted course for migrants living in Brighton and Hove as part of the Sussex Mindfulness Centre’s mission to make mindfulness more accessible. We ran the course four times from 2023-25 and I hope to run some more. I wrote several blog posts about this experience, including this one.

People living with dementia and carers
I have run and co-run the eight week mindfulness courses for people living with dementia, both online and in person. The most recent course included loved ones and carers, and the curriculum was adapted in consultation with lived experience groups, and based on the latest evidence. I have written about this experience here.
Online mindfulness courses
The next course I’m running is Mindful Self-Compassion starting on 21 September 2026, with the Sussex Mindfulness Centre. If you are interested in this you can find out more and book your ticket here.
